Single Lady Peach Crumble

I have been wanting to try out Megan's (takeamegabite.com) recipe for the Plum Crumble. The only problem was, I had no plums or cardamom. Only peaches and cinnamon. So today, my wish finally came true after a couple of trips to the store.

For Megan's Plum recipe, go here.

Now, I shall impart to you the sacred recipe for this Peach Crumble (muahahahahahaha).

(adapted from Takeamegabite)
Ingredients:

for the peaches
- 1 peach, pitted and thinly sliced, not peeled
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp flour

for the crumble
- 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
(also, if you're feeling crafty you could add a pinch of nutmeg)
- pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 butter, cold

Directions:

1.) Preheat your oven to 350 F.
2.) Toss the peach slices with sugar and flour.
Place in one small dish or divide between two small ramekins.
3.) Make crumble. Stir together the flour, sugar, cinnamon, (nutmeg), and salt. Rub the butter into the dry ingredients until the butter is incorporated.
4.) Pour the crumbles over the plum slices and bake for 30 minutes, or until the plums are soft when poked with a cake tester or skewer.
5.) Serve warm with whip cream or ice cream. Or maybe a drizzle of cold milk.

Just look at this warm deliciousness!

Ta da! I finished it in five minutes :)
